YCCS - A National Collection System was founded in
Yakima in 1948 as Yakima County Credit Service, Inc. It was purchased
in 1976 by Sheila Burns, the current owner. In 1987, the name of
the company was changed to YCCS - A National Collection System to
more accurately reflect the company's growth as a national collection
agency.
YCCS is a for-profit corporation incorporated in
the beautiful Northwest. All of the stock is owned by Mrs. Burns,
president of the corporation, who plays an active role in the day-to-day
management and strategic planning of the company.
